UMortgage Launches Tempo Lead Tracker for Smarter Lead Management

PHILADELPHIA, PA., October 14, 2025 — UMortgage today launched the Tempo Lead Tracker, a new feature within its proprietary sales performance and productivity app, Tempo. This feature is designed to help Loan Originators (LOs) organize new leads, stay proactive with outreach, and convert more opportunities into funded loans.

Built to turn daily actions into measurable results, the Lead Tracker gives LOs a clear, step-by-step path from first contact through loan submission. Leads are automatically organized into three brackets: New Leads, Credit Pulled Leads, and Pre-Approved Leads. Built-in timers, guided touchpoints, and client journeys prompt timely follow-up, provide scripts to guide conversations, and ensure a consistent & straightforward client experience.

When a lead moves from credit pull to pre-approval, for example, a three-week clock helps the LO prioritize outreach to move the file forward; once pre-approved, a new timer encourages momentum toward loan submission and setup.

“With Tempo, we’re focused on empowering our users to build strong relationships and expand their pipeline with a data-driven approach to lead conversion,” said Sean Grapevine, UMortgage VP of Product and Tempo project leader. “Our entire platform is designed around simplicity and accountability, ensuring that every action leads to meaningful results.”

How Tempo’s Lead Tracker Works:

  • Simple Pipeline Views: Automatically organizes leads into New Lead, Credit Pulled, and Pre-Approved brackets, providing LOs with a focused view of their leads.
  • Time-Bound Progress: Built-in timers help LOs prioritize specific leads at different stages of the process, from lead generation to loan submission, with specific cadences to advance each lead to the next stage.
  • Guided Journeys: Integrated playbooks provide touchpoint reminders, scripts, and next steps at each stage to increase engagement and conversion.
  • Accountability Features: Leaderboards, streak tracking, and activity scoring make consistent follow-up visible and rewarding.
  • Integrated by Design: Lead Tracker complements the Tempo Relationship Tracker, which blends user activity with LOS data to identify high-value referral partners and next-best actions.

“Tempo’s Relationship Tracker answered, ‘Which activities matter most to generate more referrals from agent partners?’ Lead Tracker answers, ‘What should I do next on every lead, and when?’” Grapevine said. “Together, they create a closed-loop system for generating new leads, deepening those client relationships from day one, and moving files to the finish line quickly.”

UMortgage Named a 2026 Scotsman Guide Top Workplace
UMortgage is proud to announce that it has been named a 2026 Scotsman Guide Top Workplace. This is the third year in a row that UMortgage has earned this prestigious honor from Scotsman Guide, an industry-leading provider of financial technology tools and industry news for residential and commercial mortgage originators. “Earning this recognition three years running reflects our team’s commitment to our core value, Get Better Every Day, both individually and collectively,” said Anthony Casa, Founder & CEO of UMortgage. “We invest heavily in training, tools, and community so Loan Originators can grow their pipelines, improve conversion, and deliver life-changing opportunities through homeownership for all of their clients.” In 2025, UMortgage hosted more than 120 hours of live daily training sessions led by top producers, UMortgage executives, and industry leaders. These sessions cover a wide range of topics, including prospecting new agents, generating referrals, navigating complex loan scenarios, reactivating past clients, and other best practices that define a Loan Originator's success. For those new to the industry, UMortgage introduced a Sales Development Program in 2025 focused on building the habits and referral-generating relationships needed for a new LO’s early success. The program includes small-group sessions held multiple times a week to share proven playbooks for new LOs, instill the habits that drive success in the mortgage industry, and promote the accountability and consistency needed to see results. To offer all LOs real-time advice on specific files or scenarios, UMortgage launched the Mortgage Manual with Jimmy Hobson, National Sales Director; these office hours-style sessions are hosted every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and provide live guidance on loan scenarios, product selection, and file structuring for smoother, faster closings. “The Mortgage Manual is one of the many ways we help our Loan Originators elevate their business and the client experience,” said Hobson. “Having access to live feedback on real scenarios helps LOs structure stronger files, choose the right products, and deliver smoother, faster closings.” Behind this educational programming is a collaborative community of top producers, innovators, and specialists who share playbooks, hold each other accountable, and problem-solve as a team. And at the center is Tempo, UMortgage’s proprietary sales performance CRM, which promotes friendly competition and camaraderie through live leaderboards, daily streaks, and branch and company-wide competitions. UMortgage's focus on its people, processes, and systems continues to translate directly into business growth. In 2025, UMortgage served more than 6,700 families for over $2.58 billion in funded volume. The average number of loans closed per LO increased by 20%, underscoring that LOs who join UMortgage grow their pipelines and production. This growth goes beyond the workplace as well. With UMortgage’s WHOOP community, fitness tasks available in Tempo, and leadership that promotes a healthier work-life balance, UMortgage team members are given the tools they need to improve personally as they grow professionally. UMortgage Launches Tempo Notes for Smarter, Faster Follow-Ups
PHILADELPHIA, PA., November 11, 2025 — UMortgage today announced Tempo Notes, a new feature in the company’s proprietary & award-winning sales performance platform for mortgage professionals. A mortgage Loan Originator's (LO's) success in the mortgage industry comes from strong, reciprocal relationships with real estate partners and borrowers. Those relationships grow fastest when LOs remember the finer details and follow up with purpose. Notes gives LOs a place to store those personal touches, like a child heading to college, a client’s hobbies, or a preferred communication style. It's also built to handle scenario details such as income structure, target payment amounts, and a borrower's timeline. With Notes, Tempo users can grab these facts in a flash, focus on the details that matter, and build the connections essential to grow their businesses. Each note is stacked in a clean, chronological list so critical information is right where it’s needed during follow-up, when structuring loan options, or while running scenarios. An AI-powered summary sits at the top of every contact card, consolidating key details from all logged notes into one easy-to-read paragraph. Notes is also seamlessly integrated into the referral partner Relationship Tracker and the Lead Tracker's contact cards so LOs can access these tidbits as they develop agent prospects into referral partners and leads into homebuyers or refinancers. "Tempo Notes replaces scattered sticky notes and siloed CRMs with a single system that gives LOs a comprehensive view of their relationships,” said Sean Grapevine, VP of Product Strategy and Tempo project leader. “Strong relationships are central to a thriving LO’s business, and this feature bubbles up the most important insights that you've recorded for agents and leads to help your relationships blossom and your business grow.” How Notes Works: Built into existing workflows: Notes are fully integrated with the Relationship Tracker and Lead Tracker, so LOs can capture context while logging activities or preparing for the next touchpoint. AI Summary for fast access: Notes are summarized into a brief paragraph at the top of the contact card to surface the details that matter most before a call, meeting, or update. Searchable history: A keyword search bar helps users find past notes instantly, from personal preferences to qualification specifics. Clear, stacked timeline: Notes appear in a tidy, chronological list so teams never lose the thread on a client or partner relationship. Notes are available in the latest release of Tempo.
